What is law of attraction?
Law of attraction is a concept where having a positive mindset can increase positive outcomes and success. The concept also suggests that having a negative mindset increases the number of negative outcomes and can lead to less desirable experiences. This principle is based on the idea that like attracts like.
Law of attraction can be utilised when trying to manifest your aspirations and goals because what you focus your attention on will attract your desired outcome. For example, if you focus on having an abundance of nice people in your life you will attract more of this with a positive mindset. Positivity can lead to more positive conversations and experiences that attract positive people. Whereas, if you where to focus on having nice people with a negative mindset you will only attract more negativity. The universe only responds to what you deliver. By changing your overall energy, you can change how the universe responds.
The 7 Laws of Attraction
Law of attraction is broken down into 7 sub laws which are the following:
- Manifestation – This law states that our reality is created by our thoughts and feelings. If we focus on what we desire these things will manifest.
- Magnetism – This law states that the energy we put into the world, whether it being positive or negative results in all our personal experiences. For example, the people we meet, the opportunities we have had and the current circumstances we find ourselves in are all influenced by our energy.
- Unwavering Desire – In order to manifest what we truly desire we must have a clear outline of that desire in order for the manifesting to work. If our desires are weak and unclear, then the universe will be given mixed messages which will hinder our results.
- Delicate Balance – When using the law of attraction, you must be aware that there always has to be a balance as this is what the universe is comprised of. To experience true peace and happiness all the different aspects of your life must be in balance.
- Harmony – The universe is comprised of the harmony of all elements and forces and is the foundation of life. When we tap into this energy it can support our positive outlook and bring like minded people into our lives.
- Right Action – When interacting with others the law of right action states that the words we use and the actions we take all influence the quality of our experiences. By implementing this principle, it can help to bring more positivity into your life through our social interactions and life choices.
- Universal Influence – When it comes to the universe, we may feel quite small and insignificant. However, this is not the reality. Each of us play a part in the make up of the universe. This means that everything we say and do has an impact and can influence the response of the universe. By understanding this law, we are able to increase the positivity in the world around us.
How to use the Law of Attraction
The best way to use the Law of Attraction is by following 3 simple steps.
Step 1. Ask For What You Want
There are many ways to ask for what you want when manifesting. But one of the best ways of asking is through meditation. If you have already started a daily meditation practice, then your already halfway there.
When using meditation, you can channel your thoughts and feelings towards your chosen goal. When meditating it is important that you have a clear idea of what you want to manifest. One way of doing this is by visualising yourself having completed the goal you wish to manifest.
For example, if you want a new career ask yourself ‘what would I be doing throughout my day?’ or ‘How would I be feeling?’. By using meditation, you can set your intentions clearly and remain focused which will boost your positivity.
Step 2. Believe You Will Receive
When using law of attraction to manifest your dreams it is not enough to only focus on the goal. It is important to believe that it is possible. If you are unsure about the possibilities, then you are sending mixed signals to the universe hindering your success.
If you lack confidence or have many limiting beliefs it may be worth exploring these issues before you start manifesting.
Step 3. Let’s Receive
If you work on changing your mindset so that you think and feel positivity you are more likely to become in tune with the vibrations that are needed. This will help you receive what you have asked for. It is also important to feel appreciation and gratitude for what you have received as this will also increase the positivity.
